React

Allison and Tom have been incredibly brave and posted some original writings here - react to them. Scroll past my meanderings and hold up your end of the conversation with a constructive comment.
Possibly, you aren't a writer in your heart - you're a painter or a musician or ? - and you want to carry on even though you're stuck on F-2 with a boatload of homework. Assign yourself more homework - a sketch a week, an hour of practice, one song from a Fake Book, whatever. Step out of the dorm and check out what's going on around RIT, U of R, the Eastman school, or try Writers and Books, Starry Nights cafe, or other meet-up spot. If you aren't ready to do something, you can at least reminisce about the things you love to do with like-minded people. You might even find some of them on F-2.
After you do that hour or so of your own creative homework, spend 10 minutes here and react to what your classmates are posting.

p.s.: If you really want to mesh all the threads together, create something in your own medium inspired by a post (think Creative Commons).

One crew of them will be sharing their discoveries in this blog. As one of their teachers, I'll share a few of mine here also, but first - gotta get myself and my classes ready for the MultiMedians.
